• This picture of James M. Eddy and party was taken in the village of Bristol in front of the residence of Mr. Eddy, sometime before 1910. The automobile, a Maxwell, was the property of Mr. Benson Hall, the driver, a relative of Mr. Eddy. The people in the car (left to right): Mrs. Sarah J. Eddy, Mrs. Blanch Fox, Mr. Frank Fox, Mr. Benson Hall, and Mr. James M. Eddy. Mr. Eddy kept a Civil War diary that is part of the collection at the Kenosha County Historical Society. He died in 1912 at the age of 85 years.
