The Sterling Bicycle Works was located in Kenosha in 1895. Their main building was 500 by 100 feet. Capacity was 25,000 wheels per year. Their slogan was "Built like a Watch." Charles A. Dickhaut was the architect of the building. The building was sold to Thomas B. Jeffery about 1900. By 1938, it had become the Nash-Kelvinator Company.
