Dressed in formal attire, seven members of the Rudy Plocar Orchestra stage a performance at radio station WOMT in Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 1942. They are seated behind large music stands that display oval signs with the "Rudy Plocar" name. This orchestra was one of several popular bands that played at the more than twenty dance halls in Manitowoc County during the World War II era. The group also recorded on several record labels including Polkaland. Tentatively identified left to right: Wilfred "Butch" Doleysh (trumpet), Russ Rank (bass), Rudy Plocar (trumpet), Jim Schneider (drums), Dolysh? (saxophone), Paul Nedwicka (piano), unknown (saxophone).
