This is the view of the Manitowoc River from the south side of the Eighth Street Bridge. The Anheuser-Busch marine tower is used to unload barley from ships at a rate of 18,000 bushels an hour. The barley is carried on a belt conveyor three city blocks to the "Head House." Coal piles from Reiss Coal Company are also in view.
