The Simmons Beach bath house was constructed of common brick, most of which was from the old tannery buildings, Lannon stone, and rough timber, with a stone slate roof, and is the English type of architecture. In the building are four comfort stations, a life guard room, concession room, and a first aid room. It was built in 1934.
