This drawing was made by Miss Catherine Coffin Dexter, great-great-granddaughter of John Dexter, who obtained the land from the United States Government and gave the site for the school. Drawing was made from dimensions taken from the school and memories of the Dexter Corners neighbors. The school was on the Springbrook Road near the Green Bay Trail. It was built about 1844, and was replaced about 1880 by a larger one which was burned in 1916.
