Albert E. Buckmaster was very active in organizing the Kenosha County Historical Society. He was chosen as its first president. He began the practice of law in Kenosha in 1894 and practiced here continuously until his death in 1927. Within months of moving to Kenosha, he was elected District Attorney. Mr. Buckmaster took part in many civic activities, was active in the First Congregational Church, and was involved with fraternal organizations.
