This twelve page booklet measuring 3.5" x 8.5" gives a brief history of the Carmen Chorus, a women's choir sponsored by the School of Vocational and Adult Education in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. There is a list of all of the choir's performances from 1939 through 1943, a page of by-laws with changes marked in pencil, and a list of officers for 1943 and 1944. The short history, written in January, 1944, describes the impact of the war upon the group. Sarah Ellen Jones was the first director of the chorus in 1939. In this 1944 booklet Dorothy Evans is listed as Director.
