• Mr. L. G. Merrill and his wife, Eurice Nichols Merrill, lived on the northwest corner of Prairie Avenue (60th Street) and Ann Street (Sheridan Road). Mr. Merrill was connected with George S. Baldwin in the insurance business under the company name of Merrill and Baldwin. This business was located on Main Street in the 1860s and 1870s.
