Card contains information on history of the screw package freight vessel, Maplecourt, as compiled by Milwaukee Public Library staff. Built as the North West, she was used for passenger service between Buffalo, New York and Duluth, Minnesota. She burned in 1911 and lay idle till she was rebuilt as the screw package freight vessel and renamed Maplecourt. After she struck bottom in 1929, and then released, she was used as a wrecking steamer. In 1940, she was cut in two and transported to the Atlantic where she was torpedoed in 1941. (8.5 in. x 11 in.)
