COLOPHON: "The author-illustrator published under the aegis of the Quelquefois Press in 1969. Projecting ahead, one might expect the next birthing in the year 2001. Eight-hundred sheets of paper, made by the author, were formed from a combination of "half-stuff" and rags torn by C. Laird. The typeface is Sabon Antiqua. Of the eight illustration plates originally two were etchings, two were pencil renderings, and four pen & ink drawings. Grateful thanks to Katherine Kuehn for her help with the sewing and binding. There are 120 copies, 90 of which are for sale. All are signed and numbered by the artist. This is copy no. 70."
Signed by Mary Louise Laird. Number 70/120.
Several signatures of handmade paper in a soft paper wrapper.
Mary Laird and Katherine Kuehn are each UW-Madison alumna.
