Place de la Concorde : nous y sommes passés le 14 juillet soir
ca. 1860-ca. 1869
Paris: B. K. edit
Tissue view of the Place de la Concorde during the celebration of a national fesitval. Pierced to show the illumination on buildings and on the garlands of gas lamps. Despite the date (July 14) suggested by the title handwritten on the back (possibly not contemporary) the likely date of the photo suggests this is the festival of August 15, the national holiday of the Second Empire. Series: Paris instantané.
