Summary

• Corner fragment of a cornice with a winged animal at the edge bordered on one side by one and the other two squat Gandhāran – Corinthian pilasters with acanthus leaves on the underside. The animal appreas to have talons. The underside of the upper rim has three bands of plain moldings. There is a socket and groove on the upper side and the bottom is flat and smooth.
