The west end of the passage from the chapter house into the cloisters has a large circular window without tracery. The columns are all clustered shafts of Purbeck marble with deeply undercut stiff-leaf foliage. The steeply angled pointed arches in the wall blind arcades and the triforium arcade have roll moldings and rows of dogtooth ornamentation. The sexpartite ribbed vaulting has thick rolls with adjacent grooves and foliated roof bosses.
