In September 1903 she sank 20 miles below Shreveport at Devil's Elbow. She went to Nashville, Tennessee and ran in the Cumberland River Packet Company along with the Red River and the Electra in 1905. On December 20, 1906 she exploded her boiler at Gold Dust Landing, Louisiana. Ten people lost their lives including Captain Quackenbush, and clerks Wade Quackenbush and Joseph Smith
