Summary

• The chapter seating has two levels with a Decorated Gothic arcade above. Each section has a crocketed gable resting on carved heads. Between each gable is a pinnacle with more crockets. Within each gable is a cinquefoiled arch with a pointed trefoil. The pinnacles are on a Purbeck marble shaft and capital. There is a string of ballflowers along the top of the arcade.
