The south choir aisle is mature Early English with piers which have detached Purbeck marble shafts with annulets. The shafts support late stiff-leaf foliage capitals and molding above. Several of the roll moldings of the arch have dogtooth on each side. The aisle ribbed vaulting is quadripartite with stiff-leaf bosses.
