Summary
Exxon Minerals Company conducted a comprehensive environmental evaluation program for a proposed project to mine and process ore from a deposit located in Forest County, Wisconsin. The proposed operation was known as the Crandon Project. As a part of the environmental evaluation program, Exxon Minerals Company contracted with the Colorado School of Mines Research Institute to conduct a study on the physical, chemical, and mineralogical characteristics of samples representing typical tailings that would result from processing the ore.
