OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - 2933; Hull was built at the Pittsburgh Boat Yard Company for Major John D. Adams, who planned to name her Troubadour. The hull stuck on the ways during launch, and he sold it to Captain James Lee, who had her completed and ran her out of Memphis in the Lee line. Her upper works burned in a fire, October 3, 1883; rebuilt. She retired circa 1894, and the metal from her engines was recast for the Joseph Henry
