The Badger Ski Club's wooden slide on Muir Knoll at the University of Wisconsin--Madison. The ski jump was built over the Christmas holidays in 1919 under the direction of a group of students from Norway. The deteriorating wooden jump was torn down in 1931, and the first project of the newly formed Hoofers Club was to replace it with a steel structure. The new jump was dedicated on February 11, 1933, and lasted until September 1957, when it was dismantled and moved to Hoyt Park.
