OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - T1855; The Mongah was used for coal towing in the Pittsburgh area. She was chartered out to barge lines at various times. January, 1941 her pilothouse burned off and damaged the cabin. October 10, 1947 long time master, Captain Orvis O. Bowen died on board at Vanport, Pennsylvania. He was 50 years of age. In 1953 she was laid up at Elizabeth, Pennsylvania and was dismantled in 1957
