View of the large catholicon, or communal church, at Zographou monastery as seen from the east wing and bell tower. Behind the catholicon on the left is the dome of the chapel above the refectory. The monastery was founded in 980, but the current buildings date back to the 18th century or later. The large catholicon in the foreground was built around 1801. The west wing behind the catholicon was built in the second half of the 19th century.
