  • A small look-out extends on stilts into the water at Fish Creek. One of a series of photographs most likely taken by John Nolen, the well-known landscape architect and urban planner hired by Madison to plan the city's future development. Thomas Brittingham was a member of the Madison Parks and Pleasure Drive Association Board created to assist Mr. Nolen.
