Summary

• The walls of the chapel have blind arcades with shafts of dark polished limestone called Frosterley marble. The capitals have large stiff-leaf carving. The trefoiled arches have thick roll molding with deep grooves between. The arches are surmounted with a hood molding with detailed heads as molding stops. Above are sunken quatrefoils.
