OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - T1841; Originally a sternwheeler built for the Goltra Line. In 1938 she was converted to twin prop by Alabama Dry Dock and Shipbuilding Company. For the first four or five years, the Missouri was used very little and lay at Cairo, St. Louis and New Orleans. Gradually parts were taken off her and used on the other three sister boats: the Illinois, Iowa, and the Minnesota. When owned by Inland Waterways Corporation, the Missouri began running again
