  • From Bethabara or Salem (Forsyth County), North Carolina. A very late teapot with a spout that appears to have been produced by this mold is illustrated in Stephen C. Compton, North Carolina Pottery: Earthenware, Stoneware, and Fancyware (Paducha, KY.: by the author, 2011), p. 26 (top) is erroneously attributed to Rudolph Christ or William Ellis.
