Duncan Williamson's daughter Betsy recites the poem "Webspinner," in a version almost identical to her father's, during a family-style ceilidh hostedby John Niles and his team of researchers in Auchtermuchty, Fife, in July of 1986. The performance exemplifies the oral transmission of folklore from father to daughter.
