Norman nave with Decorated Gothic crossing and mixed Gothic period beyond. The nave is tall and long but narrow. The clerestory, gallery and arcade levels have a 4:5:6 ratio accentuating the verticality. The billet frieze beneath the gallery creates a horizontal line but the prominent shafts dividing each bay dominate the effect. The shafts and columns all have simple cushion capitals. The ceiling is 19th C.
