OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - T0530; The Cruiser was the last towboat built of wood at Elizabeth Marine Ways. On New Year's Day, 1935, she staged a sinking at Phillis Island, Ohio River. She was upbound with empties and was soon raised. She was dismantled in 1937. The whistle and other equipment went to the Crescent. The hull and cabin became a wharfboat at Pittsburgh managed by Howard F. Morris and later sold to Monongahela and Ohio Dredging Company
