COLOPHON:"Grave Deposits started as a poem by Marie Luise Kaschnitz and was elaborated on as an artist's book by Michele Burgess. It is volume three in a series called "The Stratigraphic Archives," which includes Repair and Herbarium.
The text was handset in Spectrum and printed letterpress by Nelle Martin on Stonehenge paper. The poem, translated by Lisel Mueller, was printed by the permission of Juniper Press. The digital photographs were printed archivally by Miya Hannan on Gampi paper and acid-free film. The silver pages were painted by hand. Sonja Jones assisted with the binding.
The edition is limited to thirty signed and numbered copies. Four additional artist's proof copies have been reserved for the collaborators"
