OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - 3392; Owned by Captain Hamilton Kelly she ran on the Allegheny River, Pittsburgh-Oil City. She and the Allegheny Belle were racing upbound at Indian God Rock below Franklin, Pennsylvania on September 22, 1865 at 9:00am. The Albion was headed downstream and the Le Claire No. 2 and the Albion collided. With minor damage, they both continued on their way. 1867 Captain Kelly sold her to Captain J.G. Saint who outfitted her for the Missouri River gold regions. She departed April 2, 1867 and made several Missouri River trips. She returned to the Ohio River and sank at Brandenburg, Kentucky on December 15, 1867. While owned by others, in the Louisville-Tennessee River trade, she sank on the Louisville Falls in January 1869. On a trip to the Upper Mississippi River she sank below Davenport, Iowa. She was sold in July 1870 to Captain A. Ballard who ran her Louisville-Evansville, Indiana. They sold her to the Evansville, Henderson & Nashville Railroad. She was moored at the wharf at Evansville, Indiana on December 29, 1872 when she was cut down by ice
