An Akha mother is behind her children on the porch of their house in the Akha village of Sobloi (LS-359, PD 8952) in Houa Khong Province. The daughter in the center carries a baby sibling on her back. A brother is to her left, a sister to the right. The two sisters wear caps that are decorated with silver trinkets and bands of red and white beads. They also wear silver neck rings.
