OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - 1565; Built in 1879 at Knox Yard for Captain John K. Booth; finished at Wheeling, where engines were put on. She made her trial trip at Wheeling in July 1879 and ran Wheeling-Parkersburg, in the Wheeling & Parkersburg Packet Company, three trips a week, Captain A. B. Booth, master, and E. K Booth, clerk. When the Ohio River Railroad opened, she was sold to Captain J. Mack Gamble and continued in the Wheeling-Parkersburg trade in the fall of 1884 and spring 1885. Captain Gamble chartered her to the Louisville & Evansville Packet Company for low water work. She sank at Peckenpaugh Bar, was raised and bulkheaded, and started up the river. The bulkhead gave way and she sank again at Grassy Flats above Louisville and was lost
