A White Hmong woman is hanging washing out to dry on a pole behind her house in the White Hmong village of Phou Pha Deng (PC 4263) in Houa Khong Province. The house is made of walls of split bamboo planks, while the roof is covered in thatch. To the left of the house is a storage structure where baskets and other paraphernalia are stored. Beneath the stored items is a bird coop, where chickens or pigeons stay.
