The tripartite stepped windows are replacements for those destroyed in the fire of 1187. The central opening continues with a round arch but the other two openings and the windows themselves are lancet. The windows have simple continuous chamfered sides while the moldings around the openings are roll with a deep hollow. The detached shafts and capitals are Purbeck marble with stiff-leaf capitals and annulets on the two center shafts. The vaulting is quadripartite with dogtooth on the last bay diagonal ribs. The repainted boss is stiff-leaf as well.
