One of the medics in the Houei Kong Cluster area poses with his wife and two children on the porch of their house in the Nyaheun village of Xe Namnoi (XB 7459) in Attapu Province. He holds his daughter while his wife holds their infant son. She wears the traditional Nyaheun necklace of stands of red and white beads, traditional Nyaheun earrings and typical skirt that most Nyheun women continue to wear. It is a black plain weave with red, white and yellow bands. Her hair is pulled back into a bun, traditional for many Nyaheun women.
