Pa Lee (Paj Lis), the wife of Chue Hue Thao (Tshu Hwj Thoj), poses and provides a side view of typical White Hmong dress. She is a daughter-in-law of Cha Chai Thao (Tsav Ntxaij Thoj) and Shoua Yang (Sua Yaj). Pa Lee (Paj Lis) is wearing White Hmong clothing and dress of a variety which is common in Xieng Khouang province. Notice that her headdress and sashes are heavily hand stitched with decorative pattens. This is in contrast to the Hmong women from Kiu Katiam who wear headdresses and sashes with little or no hand stitching. This woman also wears both pink and green sashes tied around her waist, in comparison with the Kiu Katiam Hmong who wear dark pink and/or red.
