This photograph shows a typical ethnic Lu house with bamboo woven mat walls and a thatched roof, elevated above ground to provide shelter for domestic animals and surrounded by a bamboo fence. A two-wheeled cart is parked outside the house grounds, but would be under the house during the rainy season. The name of the Lu village is probably Ban Poung Na Moun (PC 6655) in Houa Khong Province.
