Wisherd operated almost continuously under charter to Campbell Transportation Company and after several years was bought by that firm. In 1936 she received new boilers and came out in December with Captain Charles Roberts, master. Captain R.C. Lucas installed automatic stokers on her in 1947, then sold her in 1948. Again sold in 1952, she was dismantled soon after
