The triforium throughout the east end of the cathedral has two layers. The inner layer is a blind arcade of pointed arches with roll molding and a hollow in between arising from molded capitals. The outer layer has two pointed arches within a super-arch with multiple roll moldings. In the spandrel between the two arches are figure carvings of multiple varieties including music playing angels. A Purbeck marble shaft with a molded capital separates the two arches. The super-arches arise from complex piers with attached Purbeck and limestone marble shafts and complex stiff-leaf limestone capitals. The hood moldings end in stiff-leaf foliage.
