00:15 Cutting timber for sawmill, how it will be cut. Stack by size to dry it before sending it to a planer mill
05:30 Sawdust pulled out by a chain, burn scraps in steam boiler, or used for pulpwood now
07:20 Mill only when not busy on the farm. Planting and plowing cycle for cotton and corn. All done by mule
12:15 Pulling corn and picking cotton. Cotton picked by hand and sent to gin, get bales, seeds, cottonseed oil. Corn fed to stock or milled for family use
16:20 Threshing grain, use chaff and straw for hay. No special hay, did use peavines mixed with cane
19:00 Story of pound supper and old man with a pipe. Trapping to make money and catching polecats
24:00 Catching a polecat while possum hunting, makes dogs sick
