Notes: This document displays the customary formulation of the orders for arrest. There are 6 people being arrested and it is not clear why they are being arrested. The sender's name is not included but he is likely to be a military man.
Condition of recto: A light-brown papyrus, cut off neatly on all sides. At the top there is a margin of approx. 1 cm., at the left hand-hand side one of approx. 2.5 cm. and at the bottom one of 2 cm. (widening to 3 cm. to the right). The first line commences 7 cm. from the left-hand side. One vertical and three horizontal folds are still visible.
Hands recto: The text runs against the fibers (cf. Papyrus 23). Only the first line is difficult to read due to fading and damage at a fold. On the right hand-hand side the large, easy-to-read letters have strokes added to them to make them reach up to the very edge.
