The five stepped central recesses, the interlacing arcading and the lower portion of the two towers behind are Norman. The extension of the central recess above the interlacing arcade and the rest of the front screen are Early English with a cinquefoil circular window at the top of the central arch and round windows toward the ends. The gable has seven stepped lancets with two windows, surrounding lattice work and sunken quatrefoils. Perpendicular windows were inserted in the central three recesses.
