Tam OʼShanter-style coin purse with a round metal lid, probably nickel silver over brass, with repoussé of an Art Nouveau womanʼs face in profile. Bottom of purse is crocheted with clear crystal beads in a pinwheel design. Lid diameter measures 2". Tam OʼShanter was the hero of the Robert Burns poem of the same name written in 1791.
