An aerial view of the Nyaheun villages of Houei Soi (XB 6855) and Nam Kong (XB 7156) in Attapu Province. The road system for the Houei Kong Cluster terminated at Houei Soi. Its population in 1970 was 141 persons, Nam Kong's 104. A USAID dispensary was located in Houei Soi as well as a two-room school established in 1968 with USAID assistance. In 1969 there were 52 students attending the school from the villages of Houei Soi, Nam Leng, Nam Kong, Lassameui and Nong Hom. The school can be seen with a road passing in front of it in the center of the photograph.
