A Continental Air Service, Inc. (CASI) Pilatus Porter turbo prop, short take-off and landing (STOL) aircraft flies from Pakxe (WB 8473, L-11) to Houei Kong (XB 6473, L-56) in Attapu Province. This aircraft was commonly referred to as a "Porter" and used as transport between Pakxe and Houei Kong, a distance of 45 air miles. (Note: The Helio Courier aircraft, another STOL aircraft, was used more frequently than the "Porter" to reach Houei Kong).
