• She is ready to hear villagers prayers and requests before a big dance in honor of the spirit. The dress is as rich as any titleholder at the royal court with baldric, beads, monkey furs, the hat with the tail over her nose, and stripes of kaolin on her face radiating out from her ears and over her cheeks. The husband is just a consort and is wearing a fine but unornamented raffia skirt over his whitened body.
