OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - T0440; The Kennedy father and son built the Clipper and used her to do job towing. On September 2, 1903, 11 p.m., while tied at shore, she burned at the Walton No. 2 Pool mine, Monongahela River. She was rebuilt, then turned over on her side and sank on October 18, 1907 at Alice Mine in the fourth pool, Monongahela River. Captain Tom Lewis was her master. She was once again rebuilt and ran until dismantled at Elizabeth, Pennsylvania in 1917
