OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - T2473; Originally owned by the Defense Plant Corporation she was leased through the Inland Waterways Corporation during WWII. She was then chartered to the Butcher-Arthur Company of Houston, TX. In 1947 she was sold to Ore Steamship Company, a subsidiary of Bethlehem Steel Company, and placed in "moth balls" at Beaumont, Texas. November, 1950 she was sold to Inland Waterways Corporation and later ownership was transferred to Federal Barge Lines, Inc.
