Archive of materials collected by U.S. diplomats on the internal and foreign affairs of Saudi Arabia, from 1930 to 1959. The collection is arranged into two subcollections. The first one covers 1930 to 1944, documenting a critical period in the formation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The materials in the second subcollection cover 1955 to 1959 and illustrate the day-to-day workings of the country. The materials were sourced from the U.S. National Archives.
